40th anniversary of the Dark Side of The Moon.

I know I'm over posting about the best album cover of all time again, but in the past weeks, the Dark Side of The Moon completed 40 years old! Yes! And the fantastic and genius designer Storm Thorgerson and the Pink Floyd official Facebook page, posted during couple of weeks other versions of the famous cover. Check the final result poster with all the pieces and some of them in details.

All the Dark Sides

Funny to see how one famous cover can be "copied" or remade. Let's see what they have done inspired by the Dark Side of The Moon.

The Nitwitz - Dark Side of the Spoon.

This is a Dutch rock band and they launch this record in 1999. I have never listen that... I do not know if I want to. =)

Richard Cheese - The Sunny Side of the Moon

Richard Cheese is an American musician and comedian and he loves to make fun of famous albums, bands and so.. for example, his band is called Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine.

Scissor Sisters -  K-Mart Disco

K-Mart Disco is an unofficial demo album by the Scissor Sisters, It features most of the tracks from their initial demo album as well as other tracks never released on their studio albums.

What else you have seen around? Please share if you know more covers like this =)

Cheers.
